These clients wanted to replace their old drafty windows, replace their aging wood siding/trims and incorporate some log elements into their new exterior. We removed the front entrance overhang, reframed the front wall to incorporate the required support for the new post-and-beam log work (supplied by others). We then framed a new roof over the real cedar logs to tie it into the existing roof and then installed new soffit, fascia and pre-finished hardboard siding with custom stone along the front. All the old drafty windows were replaced with new triple pane, Low-E, PVC windows along with a custom oak front door!
